Alex Cousseau.
Biography.
Alex Cousseau was born in Brest. He studied visual arts and audiovisual arts. Since the early 2000s, he has been writing novels and children's books, illustrated by various illustrators.
His first album, Les Trois loups, was published in 2021 by L'École des loisirs. His children's novel Les trois vies d'Antoine Anacharsis was published in 2012. Grizzli et moi, another children's novel, was published in 2017.
In 2018, he received the prestigious BolognaRagazzi Prize in the Fiction category at the Bologna Children's Book Fair for L'Oiseau blanc illustrated by Charles Dutertre.
He was part of the 2023 traveling youth literature festival Les Troubadours in the United States.
In 2024, he contributed to the poetry book Émotions in collaboration with Orianne Lallemand, Hervé Le Goff, Eléonore Thuillier, Édouard Manceau, Andrée Prigent, Clotilde Perrin and Philippe Lechermeier.
