Biography.

Laëtitia Coryn is a French comic strip artist and author. She decided to become an illustrator after meeting Jean Claude Méziéres at the age of 15. After a year at Duperré and the Atelier de Sèvres, she enrolled at the École Estienne in 3D animation.

On graduating, she worked with Florence Cestac, who introduced her to the comic book publishers at Albin Michel, where she published the first album, Le Monde merveilleux des vieux, in 2009. Laetitia has since produced other humorous works, but has also revealed a more committed side to her work, as seen in Fenêtre sur cour d'école published by Dargaud (2014), or Paroles d'honneur published by Les Arènes with Leïla Slimani in 2017.

She is a member of the “ Créatrices de bande dessinée contre le sexisme ” collective (Comic strip female creators against sexism).

In 2022, she was part of the traveling comic arts festival in San Francisco, Sacramento, and Seattle.
