Biography.
 

Sabine Abadou is a dedicated Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) practitioner and educator with extensive experience in independent schools. Passionate about fostering inclusive and equitable learning environments, she has designed and implemented comprehensive DEI programs that address systemic inequities and cultivate a culture of belonging. 

Sabine’s work spans curriculum development, cultural competency training, and implicit bias workshops, ensuring that literacy and learning reflect diverse voices and experiences. Her leadership currently extends to mentoring students and educators, building affinity spaces, and strengthening partnerships that support sustainable DEI initiatives. 

With expertise in DEI strategy, curriculum design, and community engagement, Sabine approaches her work with both strategic insight and deep empathy. She believes in the transformative power of education to affirm identities, expand perspectives, and inspire meaningful change. 

At the 2025 traveling festival Les Troubadours de la Littérature Jeunesse, Sabine Abadou Pin will be one of the guests at the round table “Diversity & Inclusion: How to talk to young people about it?”.
